When it comes to creamy, delicious boozy drinks, Baileys obviously tops the list. It’s smooth and sweet in the best possible ways, which is why it pairs perfectly with the best summer dessert ever. That’s right, Baileys s’mores jars are a thing and they need to be next on your to-make list because they’re downright heavenly.
- It’s dessert and a drink in one. Everyone loves s’mores, and why wouldn’t they? Chocolate, melty, gooey marshmallows, and graham crackers combine to be one of the most satisfying treats I’ve ever eaten. Seriously. Adding Baileys to the mix only heightens it, and I didn’t even think that was possible.
- Baileys s’mores jars are incredibly easy to make. All you need are a few simple ingredients: some crushed cookies (graham crackers, digestives, or shortbread will work fine), regular and mini marshmallows and a kitchen torch to toast them, chocolate sauce, and some Baileys, of course. You can grab all that (except maybe the blow torch) during your next trip to the grocery store!
- They only take a few minutes to put together too! Put your crushed cookies in the bottom of a jar, add some regular marshmallows, a few spoonfuls of melted chocolate sauce, then the mini marshmallows which you can blast with the blow torch (or, if you don’t have one, toast them over the stove). From there, you pour on some Baileys and voila: s’mores jars are yours!
- If you’ve got kids, just leave out the booze. The whole family can enjoy these. Just give your kids regular s’mores jars, which they’re sure to love, and pour the Baileys on all the ones going to adults. A full recipe and how-to can be found on the Baileys website, but it’s simple enough that you can just go for it all on your own and I’m sure it’ll turn out delicious.
