An inmate at a Florida prison was caught by guards smuggling in methamphetamines during his intake session. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, Shaft Bang Adams, 30, was booked into the Orange County Jail in mid-May after he was caught driving with a suspended license. However, during his strip search, a correctional officer discovered “4 crystal rocks white in color inside the ‘penis skin’ of Mr. Adams.” Yikes!
- This was not Adams’ first trip to the slammer. He has quite a lengthy rap sheet that includes more than 20 prior convictions for everything from domestic assault and battery to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, false imprisonment, delivery of cocaine, and possession of a controlled substance, just to name a few. In other words, it’s hard to believe he didn’t know he’d be searched.
- Yes, the rocks in his “penis skin” tested positive for methamphetamine. It’s unclear how he believed he would get away with trying to smuggle in the drugs or how he wasn’t in extreme agony or so off his head high from having the drugs basically inside of his body. I guess he gets points for creativity?
- Adams was given additional charges for the discovery. He was charged with possession of meth and introducing contraband into a penal institution, both of which are felonies. However, after serving only eight days behind bars, he was released on $2,000 bond.
- He didn’t last long in the outside world. After posting bond, he was arrested again soon after for cocaine possession and resisting arrest and he was put back behind bars.
