The man who holds the Guinness World Record for having the most body modifications has revealed that despite having 278 piercings in his penis alone, they don’t actually have a negative effect on his sex life. Rolf Buchholz has always been passionate about body modification and now has more than 481 piercings, with just over half of them being on his genitals. That’s impressive!
- Sex really isn’t a problem. While you might think that getting it on with nearly 280 studs and rings in your body might hinder any kind of sexual experience, but Rolf insists that’s not the case. In an interview with the Daily Star, he put it pretty bluntly: “It’s not a problem at all. If there was a problem, I would have got rid of them already long ago.”
- Rolf didn’t get his first piercing until he was 40. He got a late start in the body modification scene, but it’s clear to see that he’s made up for lost time! The 61-year-old now has loads of tattoos and implants as well as scarification around his face. Just around his lips he has 94 piercings, which is mad to think about!
- The most painful one wasn’t the one you’d think. Rolf revealed that despite all the things he’s had done, it was a certain tattoo that caused him the most discomfort. “My most painful modification was my palm tattoo. The body modification changed only my outside,” he said.
- The biggest inconvenience is airport security. Rolf said that understandably, all the metal detectors go mad when he goes through airport security and his extreme appearance has caused issues before. For instance, when he tried to visit Dubai, he was denied entry as authorities worried that he practiced “black magic.” You keep doing you, Rolf. You’re a legend!
