10 Daily Self-Love Affirmations To Boost Your Mood

We all need a little pep talk every now and then, and the best person to give you one is none other than yourself. After all, if you don’t believe that you’re amazing, how do you expect anyone else to be able to? Here are some self-love affirmations that you can use to remind yourself of the queen that you are and to instantly turn your day around.

  1. “There is only one me and that is my power.” This is a great motto to repeat to yourself whenever you’re feeling like you don’t fit in or belong. No matter what the situation is where you feel out of place, remember that there is only one you in the universe and that makes you such a powerful force. Don’t feel bad if you’re different or it feels like you stand out. You are unique and beautiful and you should be proud of that.
  2. “The universe will not give me anything that I can’t handle.” Remember this when you’re going through tough times and it feels overwhelming and completely unfair. Nothing will come up in your life that you’re not powerful enough to conquer. It doesn’t make the difficult things that we go through in life any easier, of course, but there is a kind of comfort that comes with remembering that if an obstacle has been placed into your way, it’s the universe’s way of telling you that you are strong enough to not only survive but to thrive through it.
  3. “I am not too much. I am just enough.” People who are insecure and threatened by people with big or colorful personalities may try to deflate your confidence by telling you that you’re “a lot” or “too much.” Don’t pay these comments any mind. Like I said before, people will only tell you things like this because they feel insecure next to you. Ignore them and know that there is nothing about you that is too much. You’re wonderful and electric and the right people will see all of those things and love you for them.
  4. “I deserve all of the good in my life.” If you’re feeling low on self-confidence, you might start to think that you don’t deserve all of the good things that are happening in your life and all of the good people you have. This is completely untrue. You deserve everything good that is currently happening to you and everything good that will happen to you. You’re an amazing person and you deserve the world.
  5. “I am here for a reason.” Whether you’re referring to the current situation that you’re in or to your existence in general, saying this will remind you that your life has meaning and you have the potential to do something incredible. You have the ability to change the world and your life has so much purpose. Don’t forget that.
  6. “I am evolving every day.” Change can be scary but it can also be the best thing for us. If you feel like you are going through a change of opinion, interest, or a complete change of paths in life, remind yourself that you’re evolving into a better person. You’re growing and changing and that is okay. You are limitless.
  7. “I give out what I want to get from the world.” We’re like magnets for everything that we’re feeling and thinking. Tell yourself this affirmation when you feel like you’re not getting what you want out of life. If we want love, we have to give love. If we want to receive opportunities, we have to be open to accepting them. You get what you give and once you start truly believing and living by this, you will start to see the world in a completely different light.
  8. “I don’t need anyone’s approval. I’m proud of who I am.” Society tells us that we should seek validation from a variety of different sources for pretty much every aspect of our lives. We constantly feel the need to get affirmation from our partners, friends, coworkers, family, and everyone who watches our life play out on social media. The truth of that matter is though, you know who you are and you know how you want your life to look. The only approval you need is your own. As long as you’re proud of yourself, nothing else matters.
  9. “I’m above petty drama and toxic behavior.” You’ve ascended to so much of a higher level than those “friends” or coworkers who are constantly bringing toxic and negative energy into your life. You run from drama and gossip because you know that it not only does nothing for your life and the evolution of your character, but it actually hinders you from getting to the next level of your life. You can’t stop people from being toxic but you can remove yourself from those situations. Choose to walk away. You’re better than that.
  10. “I am building a life for myself that I love. Nothing can stop me.” If you’re doing what makes you happy and what you love every day without hurting anybody, you’re doing life right. You are working on yourself and building a future and a life that you can wake up and be excited to live every day. You’re transforming and becoming who you’ve always wanted to be. Don’t give that up for anyone.
