You Can Order A 10-Pound Moscow Mule That Fits A Whole Bottle Of Vodka

If you like getting dressed up every weekend and hitting the trendiest bars and clubs for some cocktails, I’m about to help you take it up several hundred notches. If you’re in or near New York City, you’re going to want to head over to PHD Terrace for a Mega Mule. It’s a 10-pound Moscow Mule that fits an entire bottle of vodka or tequila and will leave you drunker than you’ve ever been before.

  1. The Mega Mule comes in two varieties. You can either order a Ketel One Moscow Mule with Owens all-natural mule mix and lime or a Don Julio Blanco with the Owens mix and lime. Either way, you’ll want to bring at least half a dozen friends with you to avoid alcohol poisoning! It’s available at PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown and PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown in NYC, so you have a few choices of where to get one.
  2. Seriously, this isn’t for the faint of heart. The Mega Mule from PHD Terrace is 164 oz. of liquid, 18 oz. of which is pure alcohol. That may not seem like a lot, but given that we’re talking about high-proof booze here, it’s pretty intense.
  3. They do special versions depending on the season. In the past, the Mega Mule has come in a blood orange version with blood orange purée, an oversized white chocolate ball with boozy gummy bears, glitter, rock candy, candy citrus slices, Owen’s Mixers Ginger Beer + Lime, complete with 1 full bottle of Vodka. They’ve even done an ice cream version in collaboration with Sprinkles bakery. Those are just a few examples of how creative PHD Terrace is getting with these drinks.
  4. Of course, all this alcohol doesn’t come cheap. The standard Mega Mule at PHD Terrace will run you $185 for either variety, which is a pretty penny. However, given how big it is and how many people can share it, splitting the cost probably comes up cheaper than buying separate cocktails in the long run. If you do end up getting a special edition when it’s on offer, it could run up to $225, but that’s subject to availability and those aren’t always available.
