10 Struggles Of Women Who Are Constantly Chasing Happiness

If you’re a woman who’s hard to please and never satisfied with the status quo, life can get a little complicated. You’ll be happy one moment and then unfulfilled the next. It’s no one’s fault and you don’t mean to be difficult, you’re just constantly chasing your idea of happiness, and that changes a lot. Here’s what life is like:

  1. Life never stops being a whirlwind adventure. You know you have to hold down a job to survive, but that doesn’t mean you can’t see the world and meet new people. The more experiences you have, the happier you are with your life. Why do adventures have to stop at adulthood? They should continue throughout life. You’ve been known to pack up and visit another country on just a few days notice because you were desperate for some new scenery because sometimes the mundanity of everyday life bores you to tears.
  2. Guys can only make you so happy. Sure, your boyfriend can cook you a killer dinner and buy you beautiful flowers, but you want more than a relationship. Having someone by your side is important, but it’s not what’s going to keep you genuinely, consistently happy. Women who let men dictate their happiness end up being more miserable than when they were single.
  3. No matter how much you have, you always want more. Which is the root of your problems. You wake up every day ready to take on the world by storm, but somehow you always end up with less than you bargained for. How does this always happen? It’s simply the plight of a chronically unsatisfied woman. You wish there was a cure, but you know that you, and only you, are capable of filling the void.
  4. You know there’s more to life than eating, sleeping and working. Although society can make it feel like there isn’t, you know the truth. You know that your heart burns for passion and adventure, and you’re not going to settle until you find it. It may take you 20 years, but you will find everlasting happiness eventually; you just have to be patient.
  5. You’d travel so much more if it weren’t so expensive. If you could jump on a plane every day and travel to some exotic country, you would be so full of joy. But you know that’s too much to ask for. However, you hoard as much money as you possibly can to go on as many journeys as possible.
  6. You’re always worried that time is running out. It’s not, but that’s not going to convince you to stop being desperate to experiencing everything NOW. You’re a wanderer; someone who is in constant discovery of herself. The more you learn about yourself, the more fulfilled you become. It can get tiring to constantly be on the go, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.
  7. It’s not that you can’t stay happy, you just get bored easily. Can people blame you? With such an active imagination, it becomes difficult to stay entertained for long. That’s why you keep moving on to the next best thing, hoping it will fill your heart with complete happiness and love for life. You crave so much more than what’s in front of you. It’s hard to stay focused when you want to see the universe.
  8. The older you get, the more goals you have. Because age only makes you wiser, and you’ve worked your ass off so you can make a better life for yourself. Your aspirations are what keep you motivated. Without them, you would feel even more directionless than you do now. No one wants that. The problem is, there’s so much you want to accomplish but not enough time in the world to accomplish them.
