Sex is far from the only way to show you love someone, and it certainly shouldn’t be the sole way you express your feelings to your partner. Romantics know that there are much better ways to make a woman swoon. While sex is an important part of a relationship, you should try to engage in a more intense form of intimacy that will also strengthen your bond as a couple.

  1. Take a bath together. It’s possible to be naked in each other’s presence without getting it on. If you two take a bath together, you’ll be able to enjoy each other’s bodies in an entirely new way. Bring some music and wine with you and it’ll be the best bath of your life.
  2. Go for a walk. It doesn’t have to be a long walk on the beach — taking a stroll around your neighborhood would work just as well. It will give you two the chance to talk without electronic distractions. Then you’ll feel like his top priority.
  3. Watch the sunset. Or, if it’s late at night, you could look up at the stars. Either way, viewing the beauty of the world is always romantic. Plus, if you set out a blanket, you’ll be able to have a picnic.
  4. Write and receive love letters. Forget what you’ve heard about actions speaking louder than words. Words are important, too. That’s why romantics love to write and receive mushy love letters from the heart. It never hurts to hear how much your partner loves you.
  5. Come home to a candlelit dinner. It’s corny. It’s cliché. But it’s also cute, and would score your man some major brownie points.
  6. Cook a meal together. If your man isn’t a pro in the kitchen, then he can wait until you come home and cook alongside you. It’ll help you two become an even better team than you already were.
  7. Cuddle. There’s nothing more comforting than cuddling with your partner. It keeps you warm, keeps you cozy, and keeps you feeling loved. After a long day, the only thing that can beat a hug is a long cuddle session.
  8. Dance without music. When you’re in love, you don’t need music to set the mood. Let him guide you as you dance around the room together. The silence will make every touch feel more intense.
  9. Take a drive. You don’t need a destination in mind. In fact, it’s much more romantic if you have no idea where you’re going. Just hop in the car with the intention of spending time together. If you have money to spend, then you can do the same thing, except hop on a plane instead.
  10. Foreplay. Most women prefer foreplay to intercourse, because it’s more intimate and sensual. Of course, if it ends up leading to sex, so be it. Even though there are things romantics would rather do than have sex, it doesn’t mean they don’t love sex, as well.
