10 Types Of Guys You Should Never Go After, No Matter How Hot They Are

The most tempting men are typically the ones that you should stay far away from. If you let them into your heart, they’re bound to break it in one way or another. That’s why it’s best to keep your distance from certain types of guys. That can be difficult, since they’re so damn desirable, but it’s something you have to do if you want to keep your dignity and your sanity.

  1. The guy with a girlfriend. It doesn’t matter how hot he is or how soon he’s planning on leaving his girlfriend. If he’s already in a relationship, then don’t make a move on him. If he cheats with you, he’ll cheat on you.
  2. The guy without a job. If he’s fresh out of college and unemployed, you can let it slide. However, if he doesn’t have any sort of plan for the future, it’s a huge red flag. He should at least have an idea about what he wants to do with his life. A man with no goals is a man you shouldn’t waste your time dating.
  3. The guy who’s always wasted. There’s nothing wrong with partying, unless that party never ends. If he hates spending the night in, because he’d rather get drunk with his friends, he won’t have time to commit himself to you. Besides, do you really want to take an alcoholic home to your parents?
  4. The guy who plays the field. Every girl would love to tame a player. However, it’s difficult to do. If he wants to sleep around, he’s not going to let anyone stop him. If you don’t want your heart to get shattered, then stay away from the guy who’s slept with everyone in town.
  5. The guy who believes in gender roles. If he expects you to do the dishes, clean the house, and have sex with him whenever he’s in the mood, then he’s got another thing coming. It’s 2015. There’s no reason for his opinion of women to be stuck in the past.
  6. The guy who loves his mom. If he’s sweet to his mother, he’ll be sweet to you. While that’s a good thing, it’ll turn sour if he spends more time with his parents than he does with you. If he refuses to move out of his mother’s house, or spends hours a day talking to her on the phone, you’ll never be the most important woman in his life.
  7. The guy who’s always jealous. It’s flattering when your man admits that he’s jealous of all the male attention you get. However, jealousy could make him act controlling. You don’t want to be with someone who dictates whom you’re allowed to talk to and what you’re allowed to wear, do you?
  8. The guy who’s super lazy. It’s nice to watch movies on the couch during a date. However, that shouldn’t be the way you spend every date. If your man is too lazy to get changed and leave the house to take you out on a romantic adventure, then he’s not worth your time. A good boyfriend would put in enough effort to make you happy.
  9. The guy who thinks he’s superior. Never let a man talk down to you. If he acts like he’s superior to you and orders you around, you shouldn’t stick around. Relationships are all about teamwork. One person can’t act like they’re better than the other, because you should consider yourselves equals.
  10. The guy who’s afraid of commitment. You don’t want to fall in love with a guy who’s eventually going to run away. If he’s terrified of commitment, it won’t matter how much he loves you. He’s going to hit the road eventually. In fact, his love for you will probably make him leave sooner, because his strong feelings will freak him out.
