Pregnant 13-Year-Old Girl Admits 10-Year-Old Boyfriend Isn’t The Father Of Her Child After All

A 13-year-old school girl who claimed her 10-year-old boyfriend Ivan had gotten her pregnant has admitted that the boy isn’t the father of her baby. Darya Sudnishnikova appeared on a Russian TV show in January, shocking audiences with her insistence that she and Ivan had consensual sex, resulting in her pregnancy. The appearance led her to become a social media star with more than a quarter of a million followers thanks to her “Pregnant a 13” account. However, it’s clear the situation isn’t as rosy as first portrayed.

  1. Darya eventually admitted it was rape. “It was a rape. I cannot tell how it happened, because it is painful to recall,” she told her followers of the incident in her hometown of Zheleznogorsk. “For the long time after that accident, I could not do anything, it was scary and lonely at the same time.”
  2. She previously denied that she’d been assaulted. When newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda reported that Darya had been attacked in a stairwell by a 15-year-old boy she went to school with, Darya originally insisted it was “complete rubbish.” However, she has since revealed that the attacker was a 16-year-old who didn’t go to her school. “This man was VERY fat for his age. And very tall,” she reportedly wrote online. “The most scary is that he lives in the same town, and our town is small.”
  3. Darya was afraid to tell her parents what really happened. This is why she continued to claim that Ivan was the father of the child, even though doctors insisted that a 10-year-old boy was incapable of impregnating anyone. That being said, the plan to raise the baby, who they’ve named Emilia together as a couple.
  4. She gave birth to the baby in August. According to The Daily Mail, a DNA test performed on the baby after its birth proved the father of the baby was the older teenager Darya had pointed to earlier. While she would like for Ivan’s name to be on the birth certificate once he reaches the legal age of 16, at the moment, Darya’s mother, 35-year-old Elena Sudnishnikova, is said to be the baby’s official guardian.
