A 76-year-old grandmother and her 22-year-old husband just can’t stop making out on TikTok. Almeda Errell from Maryville, Tennessee, met Gary Hardwick at her son’s funeral and immediately fell in love, marrying in 2016. Since then, their relationship has gone from strength to strength, and they’ve even started shared social media channels where they can show off their love to the world.

- Gary was only 17 and Almeda 71 when they first met. That seems like an extreme age difference to many, but the heart wants what it wants. While they first met at Almeda’s son’s funeral, it wasn’t until a few months later that they were reunited at a Chuck E. Cheese that their relationship began. The rest, as they say, is history.
- Gary seems completely and totally in love. Many of the videos they post on TikTok show the couple kissing and cuddling, with Gary totally serenading and whispering sweet nothings to Almeda and despite their 53-year age gap, it’s actually really sweet and they kinda look good together!
- Almeda isn’t Gary’s first older love. In fact, when the couple met, Gary had recently come out of a relationship with a 77-year-old woman. Gary, who described himself as “really mature for his age,” didn’t want to lose love again and proposed to Almeda within just a few weeks of dating her.
- She knew Gary was “The One” before they’d even spoken. Almeda’s first husband passed away before she met Gary, and while she has nothing bad to say about her late husband, she admits that there “wasn’t a lot of kissy, huggy stuff” during their 43-year marriage. In comparison, her current relationship is “a whirlwind.”
- These two look really in love! Not everyone will understand or accept their romance, but it seems that Gary and Almeda are really happy together and in the end, that’s all that matters.
