It’s hot out there, which is why you need to do everything you possibly can to stay cool. If you can do that as deliciously as possible, that’s an added bonus. I just discovered that Froot Loops Ice Pops are a thing, meaning breakfast is now dessert and cereal has suddenly become light and refreshing and I don’t know about you, but I’m totally into the idea.
- Kellogg’s knows what’s up. Ice pops are must-have items in my summer freezer, and Kellogg’s isn’t about to miss out on the season, hence the Froot Loops Ice Pops, I guess. Taking a beloved brand and adapting it into a different product is a pretty old trick, but one that works very well on me. As soon as I saw these, I knew I needed them, so they’ve done their job well.
- Just like the cereal, Froot Loops Ice Pops are all the same flavor. While the box, which contains 8 ice pops, comes with red, purple, yellow, and green varieties, the flavors are all the same. You’ll get a general mix of fruits that are a bit vague but super delicious.
- The smell is unreal too. According to Instagrammer @i_need_a_snack_who posted the product, Froot Loops Ice Pops smell exactly like the cereal upon which they’re based. “Upon opening the packaging of my Ice Pop and giving it a smell test I was honestly shocked at how much this popsicle smelled EXACTLY like a bowl of fresh Froot Loops, it’s like they dipped them into liquid Froot Loops. It’s such a wonderful fruit smell!” their caption says. “Now the taste itself isn’t very strong, which I like, it’s not weak either it’s a perfect balance of the Froot Loop flavor unlike the Pop-Tarts that were just WAY too much Froot Loop flavoring!”
- So far, the ice pops have only been found at Dollar Tree. This means they may be exclusive to the store, so if you don’t have a Dollar Tree by you, they may be hard to come by. That being said, it means they’re only $1 a box, which is a total bargain!
