Admittedly, I’m a big fan of McDonald’s classic apple pies. Apple anything is my jam and they’re just so hot, sweet, and crispy that I can’t not love them. However, I’m always up for trying something new, and I enjoy the fast-food giant’s limited-edition offerings too. If you feel the same, you’ll be glad to know McDonald’s is selling Pumpkin and Creme pies again for fall!
- It’s a unique take on a classic pie. As per @snackgator, who ordered up one of these sweet treats at their local McDonald’s recently, it’s less of a pie than it is a turnover. “McDonald’s brought back its Pumpkin and Creme Pie for the pumpkin-everything season!” they wrote with a photo of the yummy offering. “These limited edition treats are actually more like turnovers, and are stuffed with pumpkin pie filling on one side, with a creme filling on the other side. It’s like a handheld pumpkin cream cheese pie, and it’s awesome!”
- Who doesn’t love pumpkin? Especially at this time of year, it’s pumpkin everything seasoning. Pumpkin muffins? Yup. Pumpkin spice lattes? You bet. Offering a Pumpkin and Creme Pie is the least McDonald’s can do to get into the seasonal spirit, to be honest.
- It might not be at your local store just yet. McDonald’s is just beginning to release the pie at its stores nationwide, so if it’s not at your local spot thus far, be patient – it should be there in the next week or so. Pumpkin-y goodness won’t elude you for much longer.
- It’ll only be around for a limited time, so snack wisely. While pumpkin is in season at least through Thanksgiving, McDonald’s may just switch things up again come December and you could find this pie gone from the menu for at least another year. Don’t miss out!
