A Florida couple arrested on suspicion of cycling under the influence proceeded to have sex in the back of the police patrol car, News 4 Jax reports. Megan Lynn Mondanaro, 35, and Aaron Seth Thomas, 31, were stopped by a Nassau County deputy in Fernandina Beach at about 11:40 p.m. after they were nearly hit by a car they cut off. That’s when things took an even crazier turn.
- The officer knew they were drunk pretty much immediately. When the pair were stopped, the deputy got a strong whiff of alcohol which explained their erratic behavior. They were soon placed under arrested and loaded into the back of the police vehicle.
- It wasn’t long before they got naked. The arresting deputy noticed that the couple had not only disrobed in the back of the car but started having sex, and he and a few other officers surrounded the car to put a stop to it.
- Violence erupted immediately. Thomas is said to have knocked the arresting deputy to the ground and run off, totally naked, into the night. Mondanaro also acted out and started throwing punches and had to be taken down to the ground. She was taken to the hospital, where her breathalyzer measured .06 three hours after the arrest.
- Thomas was caught not long after. He was located at Cold Stone Creamery nearby and a breathalyzer showed his blood alcohol content was .145, nearly twice Florida’s legal limit. Both were booked into the Nassau County Jail facing charges of resisting arrest with violence, exposure of sexual organs, driving under the influence, and unnatural and lascivious act.
