Your wedding day is meant to be one of the most wonderful, exciting days of your life. You’re exchanging vows with the person you plan to spend the rest of your life with and that’s incredibly special. That’s why it’s so unfathomable that a man would check his phone while his bride-to-be is walking down the aisle towards him in the middle of their ceremony. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what Taylor Loren‘s husband did on their big day.

- Yes, they’re still married. Before you wonder if this was immediate grounds for divorce (or calling off the wedding before they even said “I do”), think again. Not only did Taylor marry the guy, they’re still together four years later. In fact, they recently celebrated their anniversary, which is when Taylor decided to reminisce about the incident on her TikTok account.
- So much for magic, I guess. In the clip, Taylor shows video footage of the ceremony in which her husband smiles and looks super in love. “Four years ago today I walked down the aisle to marry the love of my life,” Taylor wrote. “It was one of the most important & emotional moments of our life – and my husband did the most romantic thing…”
- Who checks their phone at their own wedding? As Taylor walks down the aisle, her husband can be seen whipping his phone out not to take a picture of his beautiful bride (which would also be unnecessary and inappropriate but slightly less offensive) or to recheck his vows but to have a quick scroll.
- She did eventually ask him for an explanation. While you might wonder what possible excuse a man can have for doing such a thing, Taylor’s husband does indeed have an explanation. So why did he pull out his phone in the middle of his wedding? “Cause crypto never sleeps,” he says in a follow-up video. Yikes. I’ve seen it all!
