Twitch Star Amouranth Gets Paid Thousands To Call Her Followers ‘Losers’

One of Twitch’s biggest stars has revealed that she often receives bizarre requests from fans that they’re willing to pay thousands of dollars to have fulfilled. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Amouranth shared that one of her admirers actually offered her $8,000 to call him a loser on video while giving him the middle finger. Hey, make that money!

  1. She had no problem with the request. Even though she thought it was a bit of a weird one, Amouranth, real name Kaitlyn Siragusa, figured she might as well go for it. “Someone offered $8,000 to flip them off and call them a loser on my fan page,” she tweeted. “Y’all wild. I guess I’ll do it.”
  2. Amouranth has worked hard to get where she is. To become a Twitch megastar, she continuously broadcasts to her five million followers for up to 12 hours a day – now that’s commitment. She tends to show herself dancing, playing video games, and eating while wearing only a bikini or underwear.
  3. She makes a ton of money for her efforts. In an interview with Vice last month, she revealed taht she makes about $1.5 million a month posting content online – and she’s posted the receipts on Twitter to prove it. She makes so much largely because so many people offer her “obscene” amounts of money, though not all of them are genuine.
  4. The person who offered $8k did actually pay up. Who in their right minds would offer up so much just to be told they’re a loser? This customer, apparently. “To clarify, there are 40x $200 donations (spread out over 3 days, they had to confirm with their payment processor lol) on the fan page messenger from this person. So it’s already paid,” Amouranth later added. “They claim they’ll rewatch the video every time they feel like procrastinating to get started on their diet and work towards their goals.”
