Woman Claims She Stops Hangovers By ‘Spiritually Connecting’ With Alcohol For One Minute

A self-proclaimed psychic medium has claimed that she stops hangovers before they start by “spiritually connecting” with alcohol for roughly a minute before she drinks it. In a TikTok video that has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, Nicolle Merrilyne says that all you need to do is “ground” yourself and your alcohol before getting drunk. Sure, sounds plausible!

Replying to @cynisin HOW TO GROUND YOUR DRINK! You can use this technique on more than just alcohol, I ground my laptop when its not working lol. Are you sensitive to energy? Do you find yourself not wanting to drink alcohol as much? Try this!! I rarely drink but this helps me a lot. PS: I have a free grounding meditation in my profile link 🫶🏼 #alcohol #sobercurious #psychicmedium #personalgrowth #psychic #spiritualawakening #spiritualtiktok #healingjourney #heal #energy

  1. “Grounding” or “Earthing” are real techniques. They’re therapeutic approaches that involve participating n behaviors that “ground” or reconnect you with the earth, Healthline explains. Merrilyne elaborates further: “We absorb energy like sponges. Think about if your bartender got a parking ticket, their frustrated energy could be in your drink that you then absorb and carry.”
  2. So how do you spiritually connect with booze? If you did want to give this method a try, you might be wondering how to even get started. According to Merrilyne, it’s all about visualizing a “grounding cord” growing from the bottom of the drink into the core of the earth.
  3. You’ll have to go a bit further than that. If you want to prevent hangovers, you’ll need to do more than using the psychic cord. Merilyne explains that she uses another psychic tool to help. “From there I will bring 3 gold suns (psychic tool) through the top of the drink and out through the grounding cord,” she said. “I set the intention of the gold suns to clear out any energy that is not my own or of my highest and greatest good.”
  4. Despite how involved it seems, it doesn’t take long. Merrilyne insists that you don’t need to spend hours on this grounding technique. From start to finish, it “takes less than a minute,” she says. In addition to preventing hangovers, the method also apparently makes her feel more energetic. Bonus!
  5. She urged her followers to give her method a try. The next time you’re going out to get hammered, Merrilyne suggests giving her technique a go. “Try it next time you drink!” she suggested. “I rarely drink but this helps me a lot.”
