Adam Levine Met With Cheers From Fans At First Performance Since Cheating Scandal Broke

Adam Levine has been keeping a relatively low profile since his cheating scandal broke, but fans were out to cheer him in full force when he took the stage in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Per TMZ, Levine was performing with Maroon 5 at Shaquille O’Neill‘s fundraising event at he MGM Grand Garden Arena. It seems the public doesn’t mind what he gets up to in his private time!

  1. Maroon 5 performed several songs at the event. At one point, Shaq hopped on stage to perform “This Love” with the band. The event was for a good cause, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs and Communities in School. If you were cynical, you might say that’s one way of doing some reputation rehab!
  2. Shaq agrees with Adam Levine fans: he’s great! Regardless of what the singer gets up to in his private time, Shaq is a big fan of Levine and is standing beside his friend. “Adam is a personal friend of mine. He’s always been a great guy,” he said (via TMZ). “It is not my job to say, ‘You did this. You did that. You shouldn’t have did this. You shouldn’t have did that.’ As far as I can say, he’s coming to help kids out this weekend. He’s a good man in my book.”
  3. Levine’s wife, Behati Prinsloo, was there to support her husband. Adam Levine fans were thrilled to see that his pregnant wife was also at the benefit, and the pair were seen out and about on a private jet together a few days earlier, as well. They seem to be putting on a united front, regardless of what the public thinks.

Following in the footsteps of other major acts including Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Celine Dion, Maroon 5 announced on Tuesday that they were planning a Vegas residency.
