Adele fans are freaking out after mysterious ’30’ billboards have started to appear randomly in locations around the world. Photos of the A billboard with the number on it was photographed in Ireland, while another ’30’ broadcasted onto the side of a building in Dubai was also captured. This has to mean something, right?!

  1. We’ve been waiting for a new Adele album for so long. It’s hard to believe that Adele’s last album, 25, came out back in 2015. That’s six, nearly seven years ago! That’s way too long. While theoretically, that means Adele’s latest album should be titled 31 or even 32 if it came out in 2022, if it began to be recorded when Adele was 30 or is documenting that year of her life, this could be significant!
  2. Adele fans are also theorizing about the singer’s connection of Taylor Swift. Swift recently revealed that she was bringing forward her release of the newly recorded version of her hit album Red by a week. This led many fans of Adele to theorize that Swift was doing so because otherwise, the release would conflict with the release of Adele’s new album (which will no doubt eclipse everything else forever). Red was originally due for release on November 19 and will now be out on November 12.
  3. Of course, there’s no word from Adele herself. Right before 25 was released, Adele had also taken a long hiatus from music and never announced that she was ready to make a comeback until all of a sudden, in the middle of an episode of The X-Factor in the UK, fans heard a random “Hello…” and that was that. The next thing you know, we had a new Adele album. Whether it’s called 30 or anything else, we can’t wait!
