Who remembers being a kid and running out with your dollar in hand when the ice cream truck came around? Well, just because you’re an adult now doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun when you hear that familiar tune. Houston restaurant Bovine and Barley is keeping the tradition alive, only they’re delivering boozy frozen cocktails instead.
- An adult ice cream truck sounds like heaven. Yes, grown-ups like treats too, but we also really, really like alcohol. Bovine and Barley knows this, which is why their frozen cocktails can be delivered to your door every day of the week between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. as long as you order food too. It’s a win-win situation!
- There are plenty of frozen cocktail flavors to choose from. The menu includes Moscow Mule, Pina Colada, Mezcal Margaritas, Micheladas, plus Mojitos and Daquiris in flavors like Watermelon, Pineapple, Strawberry, and Mango, and Original. They’ll run you $9 for a 12 oz. single and $16 for a 20 oz. double. There are even party packs available for $55 that include 80 oz. of boozy goodness.
- Don’t forget the snacks to go with it. After you eat your main meal of burgers and fries (or some steak, a fried chicken sandwich, or whatever else you order from their delicious-sounding menu), you’re going to want some snacks to go with the frozen cocktails you’ve just had delivered. You might be pleased to know that the cocktail menu includes sides of chips and salsa or even bags of house-made potato chips. I’ll take it all!
