Aldi’s Toffee Buttermint Wine Is Like A Comforting Dessert In A Bottle

When it’s hot outside, most people’s preferred alcoholic drinks tend toward the tropical and refreshing. However, now that the season is changing, it’s time to start switching it up to more comforting libations, and I feel like Aldi’s Toffee Buttermint Wine pretty much fits the bill.

  1. There are so many good flavors in this bottle. It’s like one tasty delicious dessert in beverage form. We’re talking mint, smooth, buttery toffee, and chocolate. Oh, and the “finest cream” too! While you might think the mint is slightly out of place here, it actually goes perfectly with the other flavors and makes this drink super seasonal.
  2. It’s a total bargain! While you might expect a specialty wine to be super expensive, since this one is being sold at Aldi, you can prepare to get a super deal on it. You can find it with the rest of the wine at your local Aldi for around $8 per bottle, which is an absolute steal and worth stocking up on.
  3. Warning: not all Aldi stores sell alcohol. I had no idea, but some people in the comments section on @adventuresinaldi‘s post featuring the wine pointed out that they were planning to head out of state in order to find an Aldi that will have the Toffee Buttermint Wine. I’d say that’s a trip worth taking!
  4. This is definitely a must-have drink this winter. Sure, 2020 has been a total disaster, but the holidays are coming and there’s no reason we can’t celebrate, albeit in different ways than we normally would. A fine glass of wine is always welcome, especially when it’s so tasty!
