The summer heat can be brutal for those who have to work out in the elements. Delivery drivers, for instance, have to be out and about all day, and while their trucks may have air conditioning, they’re constantly rushing to meet quotas by getting as many packages to customers as quickly as possible – and that can be a sweaty ordeal. Thankfully, one thoughtful customer decided to do her Amazon delivery driver a solid by offering him a dip in their pool — and he actually took them up on the offer!
An Amazon Driver Goes for a Swim in Somebody's Pool
A homeowner in Gardena, California, near Los Angeles, was expecting a delivery, so they left a note inviting the Amazon driver to go for a swim in their backyard pool.

- The whole thing was caught on camera. The driver was dropping off a package at a home in Gardena, California, when he saw a note open in the customer’s driveway letting him know he’s more than welcome to have a swim if he needs to cool off from the heat.
- The driver decided he could take a little break. After reading the note, the driver seems to take a few seconds to consider the offer before gratefully accepting.
- He entered the pool with style. Instead of just dipping his feet in or jumping in from the side, the Amazon delivery driver decided to dive in from the diving board, and he made quite a splash! A nearby security camera captured the dive, and it looked refreshing, to say the least.
- People online were tickled by the clip. The video has understandably gone viral, and people have been loving it. “Well done home owner. But bet the driver wishes he’d take off some of his clothes first,” one person wrote. Another added: “Guess he wanted to be an Amazon diver instead.”
- A little bit of kindness goes a long way. The homeowner maybe never expected the delivery driver to actually want to swim in the pool, but the fact that they even offered was really nice. We don’t show enough appreciation for those in the service industry, so little gestures like this can mean a lot.
