A British woman was left feeling slightly shamed after a neighbor left her a note in which she was shamed for “screaming like a pig during sex.” Twitter user @sharpbyname8 shared a photo of the note, which was scrawled in blue ink and left for her when she came back from a night out. Thankfully, the recipient was able to see the funny side of things and laughed it off.
- The note was pretty intense. The anonymous neighbor wrote: “Can you please stop screaming like a pig when you sh***ing!! We all sick of it!!! Neighbors.” Straight and to the point, though perhaps a little harsh. It’s unclear which of the woman’s neighbors penned the note, but needless to say, it seems they were pretty angry!
- The woman was shocked she sounded so bad. Laughing off the note, the recipient shared the photo on Twitter with the caption: “I personally thought I sounded like the herbal essence woman but go off I guess.” In other words, she wasn’t denying being loud during sex, she just didn’t think it was that big of a deal.
- Truth be told, it was kind of an uncomfortable experience. All jokes aside, the woman who received the note did admit that the whole thing left her feeling slightly uneasy. “As much as am joking about it honestly am very aware now. And feel hella uncomfortable,” she wrote. “If they had worded it better I’d have felt a right c**t, but this Narr I’ll be louder.”
- Isn’t this just part of apartment living? Sure, you need to be considerate of the fact that you have neighbors by not banging around all hours of the day and night and trying to remember that you do have people above, beneath, and next to you who may be affected by any outlandish behavior. However, to not even be able to enjoy sex because you’re going to get a nasty note like this? Nah, that’s no good! Would I want to hear it? Not particularly. However, I also realize that’s just part of what it’s like to live in a multi-unit building with thin walls.
