These Anti-Flatulence Sheets Promise To Trap Fart Smells To Protect Your Partner’s Delicate Nose

Everybody farts, but that doesn’t mean other people have to smell the foul gas emanating from your backside. If you’re in a relationship and share a bed with your partner, you may know all too well how a bit of wind can really sour the experience of sleeping together. Thankfully, Shreddies has introduced anti-flatulence sheets and duvets that claim to trap all that stench within its fabric so you can cuddle peacefully.

  1. Shreddies is already known for their anti-flatulence underwear. They’ve been selling underwear meant to trap fart smells for a while now, so bedding was the next logical step. After all, what if you sleep naked and break wind overnight?
  2. It’s all about the carbon. The secret weapon in Shreddies’ anti-flatulence bedding, which includes an undersheet and a duvet cover, is that it has a built-in carbon panel that’s meant to trap in the smell of gas so that it never has a chance to escape. All you need to do is put your own duvet inside the cover and you’re off.
  3. It never stops working! As a spokesperson for the company shared: “Both products use the same technology found in our award winning underwear, the highly porous carbon acts as an adsorbent which attracts and traps flatulence odours and is simply reactivated when washed.” They added that the brand new anti-flatulence bedding is the “latest in a long line of successful odour eliminating products that Shreddies brand is known for including their patented underwear, undershorts, cushions and odour eliminating bags.”
  4. Farting at night can be a major problem. Part of the reason Shreddies has branched out into bedding is that farting can take a major toll on a relationship. “Throughout the night this gas is released and can cause an unsettled night’s sleep and an unpleasant odor,” the company said. “We know from speaking to our customers that bad flatulence at night can drive spouses from their marital bed.” Not anymore!
