Aubrey Plaza Says Chris Pratt’s Wife Is A ‘Lucky, Lucky, Lucky Gal’ NBC

Aubrey Plaza and Chris Pratt had tons of on-screen chemistry as on-screen couple April Ludgate and Andy Dwyer in “Parks & Recreation.” Their romance was hilariously unconventional, romantic, and a lot of fun. So much so that fans still love them together to this day. And while their love affair was strictly confined to the show, they’re still fond of one another off-screen too. In fact, Aubrey Plaza has even gone so far as to call Chris Pratt’s wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, a “lucky, lucky, lucky gal.”

  1. Pratt and Schwarzenegger got married back in 2019. At the time, Plaza told People she knew he’d be a great husband because of his similarities to the character of Andy. “Well, I mean, Andy Dwyer was the best husband that anyone could ask for,” she explained. “I think Chris Pratt… I think there’s a lot of similarities between Andy and Chris Pratt just as there are with me and April Ludgate. So, my bet is that he’s gonna be the most fun husband ever.”
  2. Plaza described being with Pratt as a “jackpot.” Continuing to gush about her former co-star, Plaza said that Schwarzenegger should consider herself a “lucky, lucky, lucky gal” since she hit the “jackpot” by getting with Pratt.
  3. That’s not the first time she gushed about Pratt. While he had more of a dad bod physique on “Parks & Recreation,” Pratt did have to get “ripped beyond belief” to join the Marvel universe. However, Aubrey Plaza still saw Chris Pratt as “the same old lovable golden retriever of a man I had to hug and touch and kiss a lot,” she told Playboy.
  4. The fact that these two have stayed friends over the years is so sweet. They were together nonstop for years on end on “Parks,” but it’s great to see the bond they formed didn’t disappear the minute the cameras stopped rolling.
