Woman Posts Video Of Herself Licking Toilet Seat On TikTok

A 21-year-old wannabe influencer has drawn ire for sharing a video of herself licking a toilet seat, which she claims is on a plane, on TikTok. Ava Louise, who has been on Dr. Phil on more than one occasion, was attempting to create a “challenge” surrounding the current spread of illness, and it’s anything but funny.

  1. We can only hope this is fake. We know some people will do anything for internet fame, including faking potentially dangerous stunts like this for attention. Is this actually a publicly used toilet seat on a plane? Maybe or maybe not. Either way, the implications are dangerous and stupid.
  2. People are dying out there. Given that the current health crisis has already killed more than 7,000 people worldwide, the fact that anyone would attempt to gain internet fame by making light of such a serious issue is disappointing at best and downright infuriating at worst.
  3. What’s her point here exactly? The six-second video of Ava Louise licking the toilet seat was captioned, “Please [retweet] this so people can know how to properly be sanitary on the airplane,” but that literally doesn’t even make sense. Is she saying that no one else should lick toilet seats? That someone should clean the seat because people like her are disgusting and unhygienic? I’m not quite sure what to make of this…
  4. People have been calling for her arrest. Meghan McCain thinks that Ava Louise should be put in jail for her antics as they only encourage other people to do stupid and dangerous things that could lead to serious health consequences for those who follow in her footsteps.
  5. She’s the worst kind of troll. Talking to Insider, Ava Louise admitted that her toilet licking stunt was for “clout” and claimed that she was “tired of some b*tches named c*rona getting more publicity than ME” and that “hot blondes” can’t get sick so there was “no harm done.” Again, she’s clearly trying to be funny here but I’m struggling to find the humor.
  6. The best thing we can do is not give her any attention, I suppose. In Ava Louise’s eyes, it’s likely that she considers this stunt a success as it gave her the attention she clearly craves. However, it is important that we point out stunts like this as the irresponsible and unhealthy things that they are so as to discourage others from doing the same.
