In case you’re not familiar with Azuki, the African Pygmy hedgehog living it up with his loving owner in Japan, welcome to the rest of your life. The tiny pet has a whopping 418,000 followers on Instagram, and for good reason: he’s adorable, especially when he’s all dressed up and ready to head out on another adventure. All of his photos are amazing, but it looks like Azuki had a particularly fun time on a camping trip.

- He pitched a tent and gathered firewood! Azuki is all about roughing it in the great outdoors, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to sleep in comfort in his own tent. Plus, if he’s going to build a campfire, he needs logs, right? Get moving, Azuki!
- He grilled delicious food! What camping trip is complete without firing up the grill and making some tasty treats? “I eat secretly during cooking 😋” the caption of the photo read. Here’s hoping he didn’t forget the s’mores ingredients!
- He did some serious lounging. After pitching the tent, gathering firewood, and grilling up a storm, there’s nothing left to do but prop up a chair and sit by the fire, enjoying the great outdoors. Azuki did some major relaxing and I bet he felt a whole lot better for it.
- He went on a kayaking trip! One of the best parts about going camping is the chance to enjoy some outdoor activities like kayaking. Azuki seems to be a very adventurous little hedgehog, so it made sense that he was ready to head out in his little boat and paddle along the water beneath the sunshine. Hopefully he remembered to wear his life vest because safety is paramount!
