35 Years After ‘Back To The Future,’ Michael J. Fox And Christopher Lloyd Reunite

The Back to the Future trilogy is one of the best in movie history, without a doubt. It’s funny, fast-moving, and a set of such feel-good films that you can’t help but love them. If you too get nostalgic about them, you’ll love to know that Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox recently reunited a full 35 years after the first Back to the Future movie came out and they posted a selfie together on Instagram to commemorate the special occasion!

  1. Their reunion was for a great cause. While I’m sure the Back to the Future stars have seen one another over the past 35 years at least once or twice, even just in passing, this proper reunion was for a great cause. It happened at Fox’s annual charity poker night which benefits the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
  2. Lloyd was gracious enough to share a selfie on Instagram. If he hadn’t, we might never have known this happened! However, thankfully he posted a shot of himself and Fox posing together with the caption “Going 88mph for the @michaeljfoxorg Poker Night.”
  3. Fans went crazy for the snap! One proclaimed that Lloyd and Fox were their “childhood heroes” while another said that the shot warmed their heart. “Name a more iconic duo,” another fan added. “I’ll wait.” Sorry, but I can’t – these two are the best!
  4. It would be great if they did a proper Back to the Future reunion. I’m not saying there should be a fourth movie or anything (though I wouldn’t be against that idea), but a proper reunion with the stars of the movies and celebrating their legacy in American film would be amazing and I know so many fans around the world would love to watch. That might happen one day, but for now we’ll have to settle for the selfie, I guess!
