Baskin-Robbins Is Selling A Freakishly Realistic Turkey Ice Cream Cake Just In Time For Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and while you likely have most of your menu already planned, maybe dessert is still up in the air. Even if you think you have the sweet stuff all figured out, you’ll want to reconsider once you hear that Baskin-Robbins is selling a crazy realistic turkey ice cream cake that will confuse (and yes, hopefully delight) your dinner guests.

  1. Apparently, Baskin-Robbins’ Turkey Cake has been around for a while. According to Delish, it’s existed in some form since the 1970s, though the glazed, shiny version we see now didn’t come around until 2008. Thankfully, even though 2020 has been such a terrible year (or perhaps because of it!), it’s back and ready to spruce up your Thanksgiving this November.
  2. This is pretty clever, you have to admit. Baskin-Robins has gone all out on this turkey ice cream cake, using sugar cones for the legs and a caramel praline topping for the glaze. Underneath is where all the good stuff likes: the ice cream.
  3. You can pick which flavor of ice cream you like. While real turkey only comes in one humdrum flavor, Baskin-Robbins allows you to choose which flavor ice cream you’d like inside the cake version. Whether you prefer Mint Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (or any of their other flavors), it’s totally up to you!
  4. This is just what your Thanksgiving table needs! Baskin-Robbins is selling their turkey ice cream cakes throughout November while supplies last, so you’ll have to be quick. They’re available at your local shop in various incarnations, so give them a call to check stock before you head out. Happy eating!
