I’ve Been With My Boyfriend For 2 Years But We’ve Never Kissed

A TikToker has revealed that she and her boyfriend of two years have never even kissed. Kaytlin O’Neall, who’s 18 and recently graduated high school, revealed in a now-viral TikTok video that she wants to wait until she’s married to share a smooch with her partner.

  1. People can’t believe that Kaitlynn and her boyfriend have never kissed. After all, that’s a pretty innocent activity and doesn’t always have to lead to sex, so is it really that bad? In Kaytlin’s eyes, yes. Many TikTok commenters applauded her for her “self-control” and reassured her that kissing isn’t “the end of the world.”
  2. No, they’re not “just friends” or “gay.” That’s just two of the accusations that were hurled their way by commenters who can’t understand Kaytlin’s approach to relationship (or the fact that her boyfriend is cool with it). The couple appeared together in a follow-up video to answer these accusations and answer other questions people had.
  3. Kaytlin and her boyfriend, Drew, have been best friends for years. As he explained in a separate video: “We were best friends and then we fell in love. So everything that we do is to protect and look forward to more in the future. I want to marry this girl with every fiber in my being, believe me.”
  4. She wasn’t always against kissing. While Kaytlin always knew she didn’t want to have sex until she said “I do,” she wasn’t sure if she would kiss a guy before marriage for a long time. “I ultimately landed on ‘I don’t want to kiss’ because I wanted to save that for my future husband,” she explained. She added that she sees kissing as an “intimate” act.
  5. Both Kaytlin and Drew are on the same page about this. She’s not holding out on him, but instead, they have a shared “conviction” about waiting to kiss until they’re married. However, they don’t judge other unmarried couples that kiss as “sinners” who should “go to hell.” She explained: “Everyone has their own conviction. And you can all do it how you feel led to do it.”

While not everyone feels that Kaytlin and Drew’s relationship will survive, who cares? As long as they’re happy, that’s all that matters.
