Boyfriend Lets His Hairstylist Girlfriend Experiment On Him When He Had To Isolate

While being under quarantine is necessary in these trying times, it can be a frustrating experience for those used to being on the go and whose livelihood involves working out of the house. Heidi Lee Oley, a hairstylist from Atlanta, Georgia, sadly had to shut down her salon for the time being, leaving her at loose ends. Thankfully, her boyfriend Geoff has been a willing model for her experimentation.

  1. The couple has been staying at Oley’s family’s cabin. The pair headed to the cabin in the wilderness of northern Georgia to self-isolate and do their part to help flatten the curve. Oley told Bored Panda that the pair haven’t really left the house other than to get food and that being at the cabin has been a “shock from city life” in many ways.
  2. Oley really misses her clients. As a hairstylist, she’s used to interacting with a variety of clients on a daily basis, many of whom have become friends. Not being able to practice her passion must be difficult, which is why Geoff has stepped in to allow her to work her magic on his luscious locks (and they are indeed luscious!).
  3. She’s tried so many different looks! Thankfully, Oley has been making photographic evidence of her works of art, and she’s been sharing them all on her Instagram page. The hairstylist has done looks inspired by Amy Winehouse, George Washington, Princess Leia, Cindy Lou Who, and prom ‘dos. Every single one of them looks amazing.
  4. It’s been a learning experience for her. While she’s clearly a very talented hairdresser, having Geoff allow her to try out different styles has expanded Oley’s range. That will definitely come in handy when it’s time for the hairstylist’s salon to reopen in the future. “It’s fun to step out of your comfort zone and learn some new techniques that I will definitely be using when I’m back behind the chair,” she said. Frankly, I’m super impressed!
  5. If you love Oley’s looks as much as I do, give her a follow. She’s around on Instagram, Facebook, and on the website for her salon, Chromastation.
