Britney Spears got a stern warning from animal control after her dog Porsha reportedly got out of the house and bit an elderly man. According to TMZ, Spears and her husband Sam Asghari avoided getting in serious trouble but were warned about keeping a closer eye on Porsha, a Doberman, in the future.
The incident happened on Thursday when Porsha somehow managed to escape the house in Thousand Oaks. She then went wandering around the neighborhood. At some point, a man in his 70s went by on a bike but stopped when he saw Porsha. That’s when Porsha bit him on the leg.
A member of Britney Spears’ security team swiftly showed up to grab the dog and get her back in the house. The man who was bitten went to urgent care to ensure the bite was okay. He also clearly reported the incident, as animal control reached out to Spears later that day.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have been advised to watch their dog more closely
A Spears source told TMZ that animal control warned the singer not to let the dog get out again. However, they clarified that the “bite” Porsha gave the man was more of a “nip.”
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari added the dog to their pet family in October 2021. At the time, Asghari posted an Instagram video with Porsha, saying: “It’s going to be trained to protect you from any motherf**ker that comes around you with bad intentions.”
In addition to Porsha, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have three other dogs: a Maltese named Lacey and a Yorkie named Hannah, as well as an Australian shepherd named Sawyer. The couple also owns a cat, though it’s unclear what the animal’s name is. The singer loves sharing her pets on Instagram. She often posts videos and pictures of them for fans to see.
