Beer is a solid beverage on its own, but sometimes you just want something a little different, especially during warmer months. That’s why Bud Light’s Strawberry Lemonade beer is such a genius product. It gives you that malty hit of beer that just goes down so smooth (especially when ice cold) with a bit of a fruity flavor that’s perfect for summer. I’m game!
- This is actually perfect for people who don’t like beer that much. If you’re someone who doesn’t necessarily love beer but doesn’t mind it, this may change your mind. Bud Light’s Strawberry Lemonade Beer turns the traditional hops flavor on its head to make it a bit more palatable. You’ll still feel like you’re drinking beer, but maybe not quite as much, if that makes sense. The brand is clearly trying to convert beer haters into lovers, and they just might succeed.
- It’s pretty sweet, it’s that’s your kind of drink. According to reviewers on Beer Advocate, Bud Light’s Strawberry Lemonade flavor looks like beer but smells a whole lot like strawberry (or, as the reviewer said, “the pink part of Neopolitan ice cream,” lol). The taste itself is apparently pretty sweet, so if bitter drinks aren’t your thing, this one is for you.
- Sadly, it’s pretty hard to get a hold of. Delish did a little digging online and found that it seems Bud Light is only selling this flavor in Canada, at least primarily so. That’s not to say there’s nowhere you can get it in the US, only that you might have to search a whole lot harder to find it. Damn!
- It’s probably limited edition too. Strawberry Lemonade is such a summer flavor and wouldn’t really work for winter, so chances are this will only be around for another couple of months. That means if you do find it, you’ll want to grab a few packs and enjoy it while you can before it’s gone.
