Plump lips have been all the rage for awhile now. Thanks to the likes of Kylie Jenner, everyone ones the perfect pouty expression and they’re willing to go to great lengths to get it. That’s certainly the case with 22-year-old Bulgarian student Andrea Emilova Ivanova, who’s already had more than 15 procedures to triple the size of her lips and has no plans on stopping anytime soon.

- Ivanova has always wanted bigger lips. To get them, she’s paid around £135 (roughly $165) per treatment. So far, she’s already tripled the size of her lips and has visited several different cosmetic clinics in her native country in an attempt to look “prettier.”
- Having bigger lips make her feel much happier with her appearance. Ivanova, who’s studying German Philosophy at university, says that while some people may not understand the urge to make her lips so large, she actually has much more self-confidence after undergoing the procedures. “I like my lips now, more than before and I feel very happy with them, because I look prettier with bigger lips, and in Bulgaria this is fashion now,” she explained.
- She’s had literally every lip procedure that’s available. Ivanova told The Daily Mail that she’s traveled far and wide looking for the latest and greatest lip plumping technology, saying, “I have visited almost all clinics for aesthetic procedures in Sofia and I put in my lips almost all kinds of lips fillers: Princess Volume, Princess Filler, Hyaluronica Vital Esthetique, Apriline Forte, Revolax Deep and Teosyal.”
- She insists everyone loves her lips and she gets loads of positive feedback on Instagram. “‘I get thousands of compliments on my lips and on my outfit, and on my vision and style every day from people all over the world. I have both positive and negative comments, but women write most of the negative comments,” she says.
- However, even the haters couldn’t get her down. Ivanova says while it’s nice to get compliments, she doesn’t take the criticism too seriously anyway since she’s so pleased with her own appearance. “There are people who like me with bigger lips and there are people who like me with smaller lips but it doesn’t matter to me, because it’s important for me, how I like it. Other people’s opinion is irrelevant,” she explained.
- Ivanova may decide to go even bigger with her lips in the future. “I can’t give any indication of how big is too big, or can lips be too big, because for each person: ‘big’ ‘bigger’ and ‘too big’ are different concepts,” she insisted. “I’m broad-minded and I think people should be free to choose, which one is for them big, bigger or too big. There are no boundaries for me.”
- If she’s happy, that’s all that matters. Ivanova’s look may not be for everyone, but who cares? Feeling good about yourself is what really matters, and if having bigger lips helps her feel good in her own skin, I say good for her.
