I love Oreos so much, I’ll basically scarf down any flavor I can get my hands on. I do have favorites, of course (the original is probably my #1, but the Latte Thins are also a highlight and the Peanut Butter can’t be beat), but generally speaking, I’m an equal opportunity Oreo lover. That’s why I was so excited to hear that Carrot Cake Oreos are now available year ’round to fulfill all my dessert-loving needs without making me turn on the oven.
- Carrot Cake Oreos were first released in January 2019. However, it was initially believed that it was a seasonal release only, and they did indeed disappear from store shelves for a while. However, now they’re back for Easter 2020 and according to Delish, they’re here to stay. Best news ever!
- What’s not to love about these? Carrot Cake Oreos are exactly what they sound like: carrot cake-flavored cookies with cream cheese-flavored frosting. Obviously they have a crunchy texture rather than a cakey one, but the subtleties of the treat they’re based on are definitely there. They’re downright delicious!
- These were created as a fan suggestion! Oreo ran a My Oreo Creation contest which is where the idea for a Carrot Cake variety was first suggested. It’s good to see that the brand is taking suggestions seriously, especially considering this is such a good one!
- You can get them pretty much anywhere Oreos are sold. From Walmart to Rite Aid to your local grocery store, Carrot Cake Oreos shouldn’t be too hard to find. Better yet, if you can’t make it out to the store, you can always get them delivered right to your door for $2.99 per pack thanks to Target. Whatever way you manage to get a hold of these bad boys, I highly recommend you make doing so a priority. Yum!
