Cheetos Just Released Its Own Mac And Cheese, Including A Flamin’ Hot Flavor Frito-Lay

I’ve been around the block long enough to know that if you want good mac and cheese, it’s gotta be the blue box. Velveeta shells with the pre-made cheese sauce will do in a pinch, but otherwise, I stick to the classics. At least I did — things are finally about to change around here because Cheetos just released its own mac and cheese in three ridiculously delicious looking flavors and I can’t say no!

  1. Cheetos are the bomb. Do people still say “the bomb”? Whatever, I do, and Cheetos are it. The crunchy ones are obvs the best, and there’s nothing better than busting open a bag and ending up with bright orange fingertips when you polish off the bag. I’m here for it.
  2. Cheetos mac and cheese comes in three different flavors. There’s Bold & Cheesy, Cheesy Jalapeno, and Flamin’ Hot to choose from and frankly, I’ll take all three. They’re available in your standard box sizes which apparently provide several servings (all of which I’ll eat alone in a single sitting) or in individual microwave cups for convenience on the go.
  3. This might just become a staple in your home. You might get rid of Kraft for good! “We’ve seen incredible culinary creativity from our Cheetos fans through the years, taking our product and using as an actual ingredient in recipes , whether at restaurants, or now more than ever, at home,” SVP, CMO for Frito-Lay North America Rachel Ferdinando said in a statement. “Cheetos Mac ‘n Cheese borrows that culinary inspiration to provide a mischievous mashup of an ordinary fan favorite. We’re putting our orange-dusted fingerprints on an at-home staple at a time when home mealtime occasions are on the rise.” I’m convinced already!
  4. Cheetos mac and cheese is currently available at Walmart stores. That’s right, you can head out to your local Walmart today and you should be able to find this on the shelves. If you don’t live near one or simply prefer not to shop at Walmart, the product will be coming to more retailers in 2021, so be patient!
