Cheez-Its Eggs Are The Perfect Easter Alternative To Chocolate

Chocolate and sweets are delicious, but if you’re more into savory snacks, Easter probably isn’t your favorite holiday. Everywhere you go, you’re bombarded with chocolate eggs and jelly beans and a million other sugary treats and it’s just not for you. Well, now you’re in luck because you can get a Cheez-Its Easter egg instead!

  1. Salty, cheesy crackers—what more do you need? The Cheez-Its egg is full of those delicious little crunchy, savory crackers you know and love in festive Easter packaging. Sure, you could just buy a box of Cheez-Its (and get more of them, to boot), but if you want to celebrate the holiday in style, this egg is for you.
  2. It comes courtesy of Frankford Candy. That name may sound familiar since they’re the company behind the White Chocolate Fruit Loops bunny. The company has a huge range of treats and the Cheez-Its Easter egg is just one (rather underrated, I feel) part of it. Instagrammer @foodiewiththebeasts spotted it at their local Walmart and shared it with their followers, alerting many of us to the snack we always wanted but never knew existed.
  3. That’s not the only Easter egg you can get. The company also put out some other sweet Easter eggs, including a Pop-Tarts egg and one filled with Rice Krispy Treats. That means if you prefer sweet stuff but want a less conventional treat to enjoy this April, there’s an option for you too!
  4. They’re not available to buy online so you’ll have to head to your local store. A Google search as well as a search on Walmart’s website came up dry when it came to the Cheez-Its Easter egg, which means you’ll have to head to your local store to browse the seasonal aisle to see if you can find it. If you do, buy a couple and send me one. I’m really craving Cheez-Its now.
