While going to bars and restaurants is fun, right now it’s safer to do your eating and drinking from the safety of home. Thankfully, there are no shortage of at-home drinking options out there to enjoy. You can even have some of your restaurant favs right from your couch! In fact, Chili’s is now selling to-go containers of its infamous Margaritas – a whole gallon’s worth!

- There’s never a bad time for Margaritas. When I think of the drink that represents perfect relaxation and long summer days by the beach, I think of Margaritas. The fact that it’s still March and the weather is pretty crappy makes no difference – if I can’t be actually transported to those days, I’ll take a mental vacation.
- Chili’s is doing us a serious solid with margaritas by the gallon. Participating Chili’s locations are selling sealed bags containing 128 ounces of pure margarita goodness for around $40. Given that each bag contains roughly 25 servings, that’s a total steal! Way cheaper than you’d get them at any bar or restaurant, even at Chili’s themselves if you were eating in. I love a bargain!
- On March 13, the margarita pouches will be even cheaper! On March 13, Chili’s will be celebrating its birthday by lowering the price of their gallon-size margaritas to-go from $40 to $30. They’ll also be offering single serving margs for $3.13 each in case a gallon is just a little too much for you.
- Chili’s wants to ensure all their customers are safe and happy. While many Chili’s restaurant locations are open in states across the country, Chili’s understands that not everyone feels comfortable dining in at the moment, and why should they miss out? “While we continue to put the safety of our guests and team members first—practicing social distancing, wearing face masks, using enhanced cleaning procedures and limiting capacity in our dining rooms—we’ve also made it easy for our guests to order online and pick up these margarita specials to-go,” said vice president of marketing Michael Breed in a statement. “Whether a guest wants to celebrate in-restaurant or at home, we want them to feel comfortable, so we’ve made it convenient for our guests to celebrate however they prefer.”
