Murderer Chris Watts Is Still In Touch With The Woman He Killed His Family To Be With Netflix

After Chris Watts brutally murdered his wife and daughters and was sent to prison for life, you would have expected him to lead a lonely, painful life behind bars. That hasn’t been the case. Not only has he been bombarded with letters from female fans who believe he was justified in killing his family, but Watts is apparently still in touch with Nichol Kessinger, the woman he was cheating on his wife with and the motivation for his horrific crime.

  1. The news of Watts’ continued relationship with Kessinger comes from a fellow inmate. Dodge Correctional Institution inmate David Carter told the Daily Mail that Kessinger has been writing to Watts in prison, something he learned from Watts himself. “He told me she said that she needed to speak to him to clear some things up,” Carter said. “He wouldn’t tell me exactly what she had said.”
  2. Kessinger was apparently writing to Watts via email. Carter is no longer in prison as he was released on February 27, but he said Watts revealed that Kessinger had been emailing him back in September 2020 despite the fact that the pair weren’t supposed to have any contact. “[Watts] wasn’t supposed to have any contact with her, but she initiated it by writing to him,” Carter said.
  3. When prison admins found out, they disabled Watts’ email account. I had no idea that prisoners even had email, but I guess so! It’s unclear how Dodge authorities found out that Kessinger had been reaching out, but once they did, they suspended and then disabled Watts’ account. While Wisconsin Department of Corrections spokesman John Beard said he couldn’t confirm or deny Carter’s claims or offer any comment, this isn’t necessarily hard to believe.
  4. The biggest question is what’s wrong with Kessinger. She was in an affair with a man who ruthlessly murdered his wife and his two small children without a second thought, then dumped his daughters’ bodies in tanks and left them there to rot. Why is this someone you would ever want to speak to again? It blows my mind!
