Christmas Wreath Makeup Is The Ultimate Fancy Holiday Look

I feel like Instagram is the best place not just for cute animal photos and ridiculously elaborate and delicious food snapshots but also for crazy beauty trends. The holidays seem to be a particular time of inspiration, with Christmas tree hair and Christmas eyebrows being just two of the biggest trends of the season. Well, now there’s another LEWK on the block: Christmas wreath makeup. It’s kinda amazing.

  1. I don’t know who started this look but I’m glad they did. Innovation is the key to success online. People want to see something different and not that it’s the holidays, they also want to see something fun and seasonal. Chrismas wreath makeup seems like a natural way to celebrate this time of year, right?
  2. Some of the looks are super innovative. While we all know what a Christmas tree looks like, not everyone’s looks the same. You can change the color theme, what kind of ornaments you add, etc. The same goes for Christmas wreath makeup. Checking out the hashtag on Instagram shows off so many different colors, designs, and approaches to the trend and it’s a lot of fun.
  3. Granted, it’s not for everyone. Admittedly, I’m not very adventurous when it comes to makeup. I can’t even do a regular blended eyeshadow look, let alone create a whole Christmas wreath decoration on my face. It’s also probably not a look for the office or other professional environment, unless of course you have a really cool job.
  4. The talent level here is INSANE. Again, I can’t even do regular eyeshadow, so seeing how intricate and beautifully painted many of the Christmas wreath makeup designs are is kinda mind-blowing. These artists have all of my respect and admiration not only for having the nerve to try this look, but for doing it so beautifully. Check out some of the best ones below!
