College Couple Buys RV For $8,000 And Create Gorgeous Dream Home For Themselves

The dream of being able to buy your own home by the time you hit your mid-20s (or, you know, ever) is pretty much dead for most of us, some young people are finding creative ways to get a place to call their own. Take, for instance, college couple Daniel and Alicia. At only 20 years old, they bought an old RV for $8,000 and transformed it into their absolute dream home.

The pair paid $8,000 in cash for the RV.

At the time, both Daniel and Alicia were in school full-time, and they felt like living together was the financially smart idea (as well as the best for their relationship).

However, not wanting to waste precious money on rent, they instead decided to do something that would help them in the long run: invest money in property… of sorts.

When they saw the beat-up RV for sale for a relatively low price, they knew they had to jump on it.

With a lot of time and effort, they’ve transformed the RV into their dream home.

Not only does it have a double bed that looks super comfy, but there’s also a pantry, a full kitchen complete with double sink, bookshelves, and even some artwork on the walls.

In other words, this isn’t just a hangout spot — the RV actually has everything it needs to be the couple’s home. There’s even a toilet and shower!

In total, their “dream home” cost them about $12,000 to $13,000.

They wanted to keep their budget under $10,000 but unforeseen expenses meant they spent a bit more than they originally intended. Nevertheless, they were both pleased with how everything came together and they consider all the money they spent to be well worth it.

What do you think? Would you live in an RV home like this?
