This Beautiful Color-Changing Succulent Turns An Intense Shade Of Pink In The Sunlight

Succulents are basically my ideal plant. There are more than a hundred varieties of them meaning there’s plenty of variation. Not only that, but they’re easy to care for, low-maintenance, and really pretty. I have a lot of them around my house but I’m about to add a few more now that I’ve discovered the insanely beautiful Sedeveria Pink Ruby Succulent that turns the brightest color in the sun.

  1. Succulents are known to change color. This happens for a variety of reasons, from the season to the amount of light they receive to the temperature. Not watering it enough can also affect the color. And, while not all succulents’ color changes are that noticeable, the Sedeveria Pink Ruby variety is certainly something you won’t be able to miss.
  2. Sedeveria is a hybrid succulent. A cross between sedum and echeveria plants, Sedeveria is on the smaller side with thick rosettes. While most of those are either green, blue green, or silver green in color, Sedeveria Pink Ruby relies on sun stress in order to become the vibrantly pink succulent it was born to be.
  3. They’re incredibly rare. While Sedeveria succulents as a breed are easy enough to come by, you won’t often find Pink Ruby at your local plant shop. Luckily for you (for all of us, really), Etsy seller ChrisEnjoysPlanting is selling them for $5.99. They’re so popular that they’re considered best sellers on the site, and the shop offering them gets consistently solid ratings so you can feel confident you’ll get an amazing plant.
  4. Make sure you have your planting supplies ready! You’ll either need a pot and some soil or a well-drained area in your garden to make way for Sedeveria Pink Ruby as it doesn’t come with any accessories. However, if you’re a plant lover, something tells me you’ll already be prepared.
