Couple Throws Weed-Themed Wedding Complete With Custom Bridal Bong

A marijuana-loving Colorado couple decided to put their love of the green stuff at the center of their recent wedding, throwing a weed-themed celebration that will be remembered by the happy couple and their guests alike. Clara and Dusty Higgins not only had a custom bridal bong made for the occasion but served edibles and other goodies to those who attended. Now that’s a wedding!

  1. Weed brought Clara and Dusty together. Both had worked in the industry for about 12 years when they met. How did the magic happen, you ask? Dusty gave Clara a spliff and the rest, as they say, is history. It seemed only natural to feature weed heavily in their nuptials considering it’s what brought them together in the first place!
  2. Not everyone at the wedding partook. Not everyone who attended the couple’s wedding was a stoner, but they were cool with others who were. “We had guests that do not partake in cannabis, [but] they still respect our lifestyle, they know how hard we work, they know our love for our children is number one priority so we have the support from our families,” Dusty told Insider, adding that there was “no tension” at all.
  3. There were so many good favors, though! In addition to the custom bridal bong and the edibles, there was also a bar full of bongs and pipes and plenty of varieties of cannabis for guests to choose from. And, because the couple grows their own weed in the back yard, guests were able to see their crops up close and personal, which is pretty cool if you’re into the scene, I guess!
  4. All in all, it looks like a wonderful day. Weddings are, after all, about celebrating the love between a couple and the things that are important to them and brought them together. Dusty and Clara had a great, unique idea here that looked like a whole lot of fun, that’s for sure.
