Cow Nails Are The Cutest New Spring Beauty Trend

Spring is pretty much here, and while it might feel like the world is falling apart and the least important thing in the world is fashion, we’ll have plenty of time to play around with new beauty looks while we’re all self-isolating, right? (Hey, you might as well laugh to keep from crying.) If you have the time and inclination to do your nails, why not try out this year’s adorable new trend: cow print nails?

1. All the celebs are doing it. While I would never present that as a reason to do anything in life (in fact, quite the opposite), they do tend to know what’s up when it comes to fashion and beauty trends. The likes of Ariana Grande and Kendall Jenner have already tried cow nails and they look great, so I’m inclined to give it a try myself.
2. They go with so many things. Black and white are classic colors. While there’s a lot to be said for wild neon colors or bright patterns, there’s also something super chic and classy about cow nails. They go with so many different outfits and look fun and playful without seeming too juvenile. In other words, they’re a perfect all-around look.
3. They’re vegan-friendly, obviously. While you’d need to check the ingredients on your nail polish bottles to ensure this, the look itself—cow print—obviously doesn’t harm any animals. In fact, you could even say it pays homage to the cool patterns nature comes up with, which is pretty amazing when you really think about it.
4. There are so many ways to take part in the cow nails trend. Maybe you want to do just a couple of nails with cow print and the other with solid white or black paint. Maybe you want to just do the tips in cow print and leave the rest of your nails clear. Maybe you want to add little accent jewelry on a few nails to really heighten the look. However you want to wear it, you can. Go for it!
