Dad Welcomes New Baby With His Daughter’s Ex-Boyfriend

A British man has welcomed a new baby with his daughter’s ex-boyfriend, he announced on Instagram. Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 50, has been in a relationship with 25-year-old Scott Hutchinson for a while now, with the pair having gotten engaged in August 2020. Now they’ve become dads to a baby girl via surrogacy and have been all too pleased to share the happy news with their followers.

  1. Scott used to date Barrie’s daughter, Saffron. Saffron, 20, seems to be pretty supportive of the relationship between her dad and her ex, which makes things a whole lot easier for everyone involved, I’m sure!
  2. Barrie and Scott announced their imminent arrival back in March. They revealed that the surrogate they chose had gotten pregnant on her first attempt, which is a bit of luck. Their little girl was due in October, but as it turns out, she was born nearly a month early.
  3. Baby Valentina Willow Drewitt-Barlow is beautiful! Sharing pictures of the new bundle of joy on Barrie’s Instagram account, which boasts more than 40,000 followers, the proud parent gushed about the baby. “Welcome to the world our beautiful daughter – Valentina Willow Drewitt-Barlow,” Barrie wrote. “Our girl is almost a month early but she is perfect. We feel totally blessed. I love you Scott.”
  4. The couple originally thought they were expecting triplets. “I am overjoyed to share the news that Scott and I are pregnant with triplet girls. We are using a surrogate and she’s fallen pregnant at the first attempt. Our family has too many boys and too much testosterone!” Barrie told The Sun earlier this year. However, they later told their Instagram followers that they were excited about their “baby girl,” and it’s so wonderful that she’s been born happy and healthy!
