Disneyland is amazing and magical at any time of year. There’s simply nowhere else like a Disney theme park and nowhere evokes quite the same feelings of happiness and excitement as they do. However, just when you thought things couldn’t get more awesome, the company has announced the Oogie Boogie Bash, a new Halloween party for teens and adults. You’re going to love it!
- It’s like Mickey’s Halloween Party but better. A Halloween bash at Disneyland isn’t exactly a new thing, but the Oogie Boogie Bash is a bit of an upgrade from everything that’s come before. Mainly, while the Oogie Boogie Bash remains family-friendly, it’s more geared towards teens and adults, which means booze is very much allowed (if you’re over 21, of course).
- There are a ton of awesome things to do. Just for the Oogie Boogie Bash, Disneyland has ramped up the activities available and they’ve really gone all out. According to the Disney website, “See Villainous! a new World of Color show (exclusive to this event), experience the wickedly transformed Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, walk along immersive treat trails featuring Disney Villains and join a pulsing dance party with the greatest dance crew from the Isle of the Lost-based on Disney’s Descendants movies.”
- Booze will be sold openly, so you can get your drink on. That’s not the norm for Disneyland’s Halloween parties but it is for this one, which means you can grab some drinks while you’re having fun. As if it couldn’t get any better!
- Don’t worry, there’s candy too. Disneyland has never skimped on selling delicious treats and all of those will still be there in abundance. However, there will also be cauldrons full of candy to grab while you’re walking the haunted trail and no doubt you might find some of the characters giving out goodies too…
- It opens at Disney California Adventure Park in September. A couple of the dates have already sold out, which means you’ll have to be quick if you want to be guaranteed entry to what’s definitely going to be one of the best Halloween parties ever.
