As much as we love the men in our lives, sometimes they do things that make us feel like complete crap. Of course, you can’t let your confidence waver, just because of the way some guy treats you. Don’t let these things he does ruin your self-esteem:
Checking out other women in front of you.
Men don’t go blind as soon as they find the woman they want to spend the rest of their lives with. Your partner is always going to look at other ladies, but that doesn’t mean he thinks they’re more beautiful than you are.
Masturbating to online sex stars.
You won’t always be in the mood when your boyfriend is. That’s why you can’t fault him for masturbating while looking at someone other than you.
Not swiping right for you on Tinder.
If a hot guy on a dating site doesn’t like your profile, don’t let it get to you. Everyone has their own preferences, so no two men are going to find the same woman beautiful.
Commenting on your weight.
If someone makes a comment on your weight, or about how much you’re eating, ignore them. You can be comfortable with your body, even when others aren’t comfortable with it.
Turning down sex.
It’s hard to believe, but your partner won’t always be in the mood. If he turns you down one night, it’s not because you look hideous.
Giving you backhanded compliments.
For some strange reason, men believe that insulting you will help them get laid. So really, if he comments on how brave you are for wearing something so bold, he’s really saying that he wants to sleep with you.
Refusing to look at you during sex.
If he’s afraid of commitment, looking you in the eyes might be too intense for him. It has nothing to do with hating what you look like or imagining another woman in bed with him.
Never texting you back.
If he drops out of your life, he might be busy, or playing hard to get, or in a relationship already. You never know what’s going on in his life, so don’t assume he’s ignoring you, because he hates you.
Never liking your Instagram posts.
Don’t let your confidence rise or fall based on how many likes you get on your selfies. Maybe he didn’t see your post, or maybe he just doesn’t want to look desperate by liking all of your photos.
Refusing to call you his girlfriend.
It’s devastating to find out that the guy you’ve been sleeping with doesn’t want a relationship with you. Of course, that’s his loss, so don’t let it destroy your self-esteem.
