Drew Barrymore has revealed she can go years without sex and she’s not bothered by it. The topic arose after Andrew Garfield recently said during an appearance on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast that he was celibate for six months to film his 2016 movie Silence. Drew’s opinion? Basically, who cares?
- “I was like, ‘Yeah, so?'” she said. Her comments came during Tuesday, September 20’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. Ross Matthews, who often contributes to the show, said: “That’s the headline: ‘Drew can go six months, no big deal.'”
- In fact, Drew can go years without sex. Barrymore was quick to correct Matthews, saying she’d be fine not having sex for “years.” She asked her live audience: “What’s wrong with me that six months doesn’t seem like a very long time?”
- To be honest, this isn’t all that shocking. Sex is important in relationships (though it’s unclear whether Barrymore is currently in one), but a lot of people have other priorities and aren’t all that bothered by how much or little sex they’re having. In other words, Drew is all of us!
