Two women were arrested at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida after they got into a drunken brawl. The women, who were sisters from New Jersey, were both inebriated and got into a “naked fight” after one of the sisters slipped on the other’s vomit, according to WDWNT.
- The women were vacationing with family in Florida. The sisters, aged 29 and 31, were said to have eaten at a steakhouse and then went for drinks at an Irish restaurant. Everything was going fine until they decided to head up to their hotel off Disney property.
- Disney Security helped the women call an Uber. As both of their phones had died, a member of staff called them an Uber, but the Uber reportedly refused to take them because of how drunk they were. This caused discord between the women and they began to argue.
- Things went downhill from there. The older sister reportedly called the younger one a bad mom and slapped her, with the younger woman threatening to punch the older one in return. It wasn’t long before someone called the Orlando County Sheriff’s Office about a fight at Disney Springs.
- By the time police arrived, the younger sister was naked. Arriving near Cirque du Soleil, the younger woman was screaming and crying while only wearing her underwear and sandals. “Deputies assisted [her] with putting on a blue jean jacket since she was not wearing any clothing,” a sheriff’s report said.
- A member of Disney security witnessed everything. As per the police statement, which was only released last month, nearly four months after the October 26 incident, said: “Both females were screaming at each other. [The security manager] said one female was sitting on a bench while the second female was standing over her. After attempting to calm the situation, [the security manager] said one female slapped the other in the face. At that point, both females began punching, slapping, and pulling each other’s hair.”
- The security manager tried to pull the women apart. However, once he got them separated, the older woman slipped in her younger sister’s vomit and then “fell into the bushes while still fighting.” The statement continued: “[The security manager] stated [the younger sister] ran a few feet away and took off her dress, exposing her breasts. Shortly after, they began to punch each other again. [The security manager] and [another cast member who witnessed the fight] were able to separate the two again until the off-duty deputies arrived on scene.”
- Deputies questioned the younger sister. However, the report stated that she only wanted to talk about the fact that she doesn’t like her older sister’s boyfriend. Both women were arrested for domestic violence, battery, and disorderly intoxication, all of which are misdemeanors. The state’s attorney’s office later declined to pursue criminal charges.
