Your Dry Spell Won’t End Until You Do These 10 Things

If you haven’t had sex in a while, you might feel unattractive and unwanted. Even though all of your friends tell you that you’re a catch, it’s hard to believe that after months of climbing into bed alone. That’s why you need to cross the following items off of your to-do list if you want your dry spell to end:

  1. Look in the mirror and like what you see. Until you can say that you’re happy with who you are, you’re going to have trouble getting laid. But once you start considering yourself a sexy beast, your newfound confidence will draw in men from miles away.
  2. Raise your expectations. Don’t be fooled into thinking you need to lower your standards in order to get laid. You actually need to raise them. If you think that your interactions with attractive men are going to go well, then there’s a higher chance that it’ll actually happen.
  3. Stop drinking so much. Getting wasted at a popular bar might feel like the answer to your problems, but you won’t be able to go home with anyone if you’re too tipsy to walk. If you stay sober, you’ll stay alert, which means you’ll be able to have stimulating conversations with any sexy men you meet.
  4. Don’t go looking for something serious. You can’t have sex if you turn down every guy you see. Remember, not every one-night stand needs to turn into a long-term relationship. It’s okay to ask him back to your place for the night, even though you know you won’t be calling him the next day.
  5. Stop doubting yourself. Don’t worry about whether or not you’ve lost your touch in the bedroom. Those doubts will only screw with your mind. Instead of stressing over what might happen when you actually slip under the sheets, just do the cliché thing and live in the moment.
  6. Step away from Netflix. You’ll never have sex if you act like a hermit. The next time your friends invite you out, take them up on their offer instead of refusing so you can stay at home and watch movies. Netflix isn’t going anywhere.
  7. Put on your favorite pair of heels. Whoever said looks don’t matter was lying to you. The better you look, the better you’ll feel. That’s why you need to put on your favorite little black dress before you start scouting for men.
  8. Stop trying so hard. You don’t have to throw yourself at him. A little smile and eyelash fluttering can make just as big of an impact as climbing on top of his lap would. As long as you’ve made your interest clear, your job is done.
  9. Treat your body the way it deserves. Exercise and eat right. The better you feel physically, the better you’ll feel emotionally. Plus, if you have a hot body to show off, it’s extra incentive to find a guy to strip for.
  10. Go do something about it. You aren’t going to get any until you get off of your ass. Don’t wait for men to make the first move, because you’re perfectly capable of initiating conversations, kisses, and sex. You have the power to end your dry spell, so get to work.
