DUI Suspect Shocks Police With Huge Stash Of Booze Hidden In Her Bra

A Florida woman who was arrested for driving under the influence shocked police after they discovered a secret stash of booze in her bra, according to an arrest report obtained by The Smoking Gun. Brandi Stanley, 31, was reported to 911 by a concerned citizen who noticed “a drunk female that is driving all over the drive-thru” at a local McDonald’s in Lady Lake. Things went downhill for her from there.

  1. Police turned up to find Stanley in quite a state. She was eating her fast food in her car, had glassy eyes and a flushed face, and reeked of alcohol, according to the arresting officer. When he asked her to step outside of her vehicle, she couldn’t even stand up straight and swayed from side to side.
  2. Stanley refused to do a field sobriety test. That pretty much immediately insinuates guilt, of course, but no matter. She was arrested, cuffed, and put into the back of the cop car to be taken to the county jail.
  3. She lost her mind in the back of the cop car. According to the arrest report, Stanley muttered “I’m so silly I should know better” and Just take me home, let’s forget that” while in the back of the car on the way to jail. By the time they got her there, she “continued to yell and scream” at police, which meant that “several deputies” had to step in to get her out of the car.
  4. Once they got Stanley to jail, they made a major discovery. It was at the jail that they discovered an eight-pack of Deep Eddy Vodka tucked under Stanley’s bra, with one bottle missing from the pack. The bottles were likely 50 mL each, which is basically the size of shots you get during a flight.
  5. Stanley was charged and eventually arrested. She was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and released from custody on $2,000 bond the following day. She plans to make a plea agreement in court.
